What is the Ukrainian Leadership Academy?
The Ukrainian Leadership Academy (ULA) is a program of personal and social development, main element of which is the 10-month formational course for secondary school graduates. It combines elements of physical, emotional and intellectual development based on values. Academy’s Mission is to influence the underlying social processes in the Ukrainian society by forming a generation of young people who take responsibility for our nation and have the necessary skills for this.

Organizers have set an ambitious goal: to unite young high potentials in order to provide them with the best training, develop their in-depth understanding of national identity, stimulate desire to be effective for the country, facilitate comprehension and realization of their talents.
10-month formational course includes:

The Academy was established in 2015 with the support of the investment fund Western NIS Enterprise Fund. The ULA is backed by the Presidential Administration, the Parliamentary Committee on Science and Education, the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as local partners.
Founder and CEO of the Academy is Roman Tychkivskyy.
Each student of the Academy receives a scholarship granted by the Western NIS Enterprise Fund, which was founded by the U.S. Government via USAID. Each year around 10 million UAH are allocated for: the educational program, trips, meals, healthcare, implementation of local and national social projects etc. Students are to pay one-time admission fee equal to 2,000 UAH.
Following talented and respected Ukrainians have inspired and initiated Academy’s establishment: Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, Borys Gudziak, Jaroslawa Johnson, Ivan Malkovych, Andrii Zelinskyi, Lenna Koszarny, Natalia Popovych, Vladyslav Troitskyi, Viktor and Valentyna Zotov, Yaroslav Rushchyshyn, Oksana Semeniuk.
